My twins Michael and Sophie have been inspiring me since they were born in 2010.  Through them I have learned to guide kids with fun and compassion from behind a camera.

I have been a high school English teacher for over 20 years, delight in the realness of teenagers, and could read my life away.

My husband Mike and I love DIY home improvement and woodworking projects.  I'm the ideas, and he's the labor.

A grande cinnamon dolce latte from Starbucks is my go-to reset button.

While I love a rainy afternoon with a book, sharing the couch with my family and binge watching a show (Stranger Things, Only Murders in the Building) is extra special. ​
